This was created in one-fell-swoop. Directly after completing “Pittsburgh,” the artist shares that since he still had an ample amount of colors left on his pallet, there was this, “nothing to lose” notion about creating something else. That carefree, abandoned attitude, clearly shows up in the execution of “Changes”  – which is sometimes referred to as “confidence of stroke.” These confident, fast strokes are clearly visible in some of the gallery photos beneath. Fun fact; the scrapped used, for this was a page out of a French fashion, magazine of a female runway model. David Bowie, had such an androgynous look to begin with, he immediately came to mind after completion and it just stuck.
